Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 august 2017

Your privacy is the most important thing to me. As a matter of fact, privacy was and has been since one of the things that made me develop Enigmer browser extension. These are the principles behind Enigmer:

* I don't want to know anything about your passwords. I will never ask you about any of your passwords, whether you use Enigmer to handle them or not.
* Enigmer the browser extension doesn't use any cloud-based technologies in it's operation. The extension saves all of it's data locally to your device and all the processing is done locally as well.
* Enigmer the browser extension won't collect any information about the user nor collect any logs about the usage of the extension (browser manufacturer might still have some of their own logging systems).
* Enigmer the browser extension needs the permission to change website content for searching and marking relevant passwordfields on the pages you browse (more on this at
* Enigmer the browser extension needs the permission to read your browsing history and bookmarks in order to get random data. This random data is used to create unique hash which is then used to create your passwords (more on this at
